Who am I?

I am David Brock. My wife Sarah and I, along with our yellow Labrador, have lived in Fowlmere for the last eight and a half years. I have lived within a few miles of Fowlmere for the last 30 years. I am an independent candidate, not affiliated to any political party. We have three adult children and two grandchildren. I am a retired planning lawyer and a practising Christian.

Why me?

I have recently retired and have the time to be one of your parish councillors.

I have experience of the workings of parish councils and local government.

Planning is one of the major aspects of a parish council’s activities. I am familiar with all aspects of the planning system. During my legal career I worked on developments large and small, representing objectors, local authorities, landowners and developers. I care passionately about quality development available for all who need it. Indeed, I live in a new development.

I value truth, justice and integrity.

What is my vision for Fowlmere?

For it to be a good, friendly, community-minded, healthy and compassionate place in which to live.
